All the bio info says Dave was "born" in Iola... but we are wondering if he actually grew up in Scandanavia (I thought I read that somewhere once). This question came up with the #1 draft this year of Iola's Austen Lane to Jacksonville...

Please let us confirm that Mr. Krieg was indeed born in Iola where he grew up with his two younger brothers. Then attended college at Milton where the rest is a pretty amazing 19 year run history ...

I’ve been trying to find a throwback Dave Krieg jersey everywhere. Can you point me to where I might be able to purchase one? Any help would be much appreciated.

The eBay auction site is a good source for authentic and replica throwback jerseys as well as other Dave Krieg memorabilia. If new jerseys become available through a retail store in the future, we will post a link here for your convenience.

In the 1994 playoff game at Green Bay, what happened on the 4th down play at the end? Did Perriman run the wrong route? Herman made the catch but was out of bounds. I am haunted by this game.

You are correct!! Mr. Perriman tried to be more helpful than needed!!!!! Still should have been a catch!!! Haunts You???? Still haunts me!!!!

I have a friend that I go to college with that keeps saying that you went to the same high school as him (which is D.C. Everest.) Is this true?

Great question, Kyle. Yes indeed, your friend is correct. Dave had played high school football at D.C. Everest where there was a power-I offense, which meant "there were three running backs in the backfield, leaving room for only one wide receiver. I didn’t have an opportunity to throw much in high school!"

Just curious as to what Dave is up to these days?
He will always have a special place for Kansas City fans.
Lea Ann Palmer

Thanks for your question, Lea Ann. "I do speaking appearances which are motivational and corporate-involved, where I play golf or go hunting and fishing and incorporate that into outings for charities, celebrity and charity golf outings across the country. They're just awesome, I go all kinds of places from Seattle down to Florida, up to Chicago, NY, down to San Diego, and Arizona."

Dave also keeps busy going to hockey games with his sons, and has a lovely daughter "who has a great southern accent."
